Dog-friendly Beudy Bach is a converted barn made into a welcoming holiday cottage. It is on Ty Mawr Farm, just two miles from the North Wales village of Y Felinheli.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome and there is ample off-road parking.
Inside
The living area downstairs is open-plan, with the lounge, dining area and kitchen enjoying the large space available. Original wooden beams set high into the ceiling are a stunning feature of this area, along with the slate floor throughout. With gas central heating and wood burning stove, this property is comfortable at any time of year. Fuel and power are included in the rent.
The lounge section has plenty of seating, arranged around the wood burner set into an inglenook fireplace.
The dining table and chairs are in the spacious kitchen area, which is well equipped with oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are two bedrooms: a ground-floor double and a twin upstairs, under the sloping ceiling. The double, which can be a second twin room on request, has an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and WC. The twin also has an ensuite bathroom, with bath, basin and WC. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.
Free WiFi is available for guest use.
Outside
There is space outside to relax, on a gravelled area with furniture. Enjoy a drink or a meal here on warm days.
Location and surrounding area
The village of Y Felinheli, just two miles from the cottage, has a selection of shops and places to eat. It is also home to a yachting marina. From here, drive to the towns of Bangor, just three miles away, and Caernarfon, five miles away, and enjoy their impressive architecture and selection of shops.
Snowdonia National Park is close by, with its many walking opportunities for you and your dogs, or if the weather is suitable, spend a day on one of the beaches in the area.
