Cottage Details

Dog-friendly Butterlands Farmhouse is a spacious cottage full of historic charm blended with modern comfort, just three miles from Biddulph village in Staffordshire.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there is off-road parking available.

Inside

The interior is immaculately presented, with many original features remaining. These have been blended perfectly with modern furnishings and comforts, resulting in a unique, charming holiday home. With oil central heating and open fires, the cottage is warm and cosy at any time of year. Fuel, power and a starter pack are included in the rent.

The dining room has exposed beams, an impressive chequered tiled floor, a fireplace and a piano. The separate sitting room has comfortable armchairs and a second fireplace, the perfect place to relax after dinner.

There is a second table in the well-equipped kitchen, where you can have breakfast while making plans for the day. There are all the mod cons you need: an oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher.

There are four bedrooms: a double on the ground floor with an ensuite shower room, and two doubles on the first floor, also both with their own ensuite shower rooms. All three doubles can be twin rooms on request. A single room is accessed via one of the first-floor double rooms. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

For the children in your party (of any age!), there is an extremely original feature under the stairs: a custom-made dolls’ house, complete with curtains.

Free Wifi is available for guest use.

Outside

The private lawned garden with patio and furniture is a great spot for your dogs to explore, while you relax after a day of discovering the area.

The bedrooms are all nicely decorated with lovely comfy beds. Externally there are huge, well kept gardens which our dogs loved, and which are completely enclosed…
