The Garden Loft is a dog-friendly romantic retreat for two people, at the end of a long farm track for peace and tranquillity.

There are plenty of walking opportunities in the area, direct from the front door.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome (at an additional cost of £20 each), and there is off-road parking for two cars.

Inside

The Garden Loft has its own entrance, accessed via a flight of stone steps. The studio-style layout makes the most of the space in an elegant, comfortable way.

The lounge area has plenty of seating where you can stretch out in front of the wood burner and watch the television or a DVD. Logs are provided. The separate dining area is perfect for a leisurely breakfast or romantic evening meal.

The kitchen is well-equipped, with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. The separate utility area has a washer/dryer, with plenty of room to store bikes.

The sleeping area with its double bed is light and airy, situated next to patio doors with a Juliet balcony. The shower room with WC is modern with a country twist.

With electric heating, this property is warm and comfortable whatever the season.

Free WiFi is included for guest use.

Outside

The enclosed garden space has seating and is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring with your dogs. There is a nearby enclosed field where your dogs can enjoy a run off the lead. Please keep them on the lead at other times.

There is also stabling for two horses and use of menage and grazing, by prior arrangement.

Location and surrounding area

The local pub and shop are three miles away.

There are many wonderful walks to enjoy in the area, and nearby Rudyard Lake makes for a relaxing, nature-filled day out by the water’s edge, where you can also enjoy the miniature steam train or a ride on a hired boat.

The nearby town of Leek has plenty of eateries and shops on offer.

From here, you can easily access the Peak District and Bakewell, and there are several National Trust properties in the area, including Little Moreton Hall, Biddulph Grange Gardens, Quarry Bank Mill, Lyme Park, Tatton Park and Dunham Massey.
