Cottage Details

The Folly is a dog-friendly three-storey retreat, perched on elevated ground in the peaceful country surroundings of the owner’s property. With central heating and a wood burner, this property is perfect for escaping everyday life at any time of year.

The unusual hexagonal shape of the building informs the shape of the rooms inside, and guests will delight at the experience of staying in this unique property.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and your pet will enjoy exploring the extensive grounds.

Inside

The hexagonal rooms are arranged over three floors, and they are very tastefully decorated to a high standard.

The ground floor houses the spacious kitchen, which also includes a dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Wooden stairs lead to the first floor.

On the first floor can be found the living room. This is a cosy space, with comfortable high-backed chairs in front of a wood burner. An attractive metal spiral staircase curls up to the next floor.

The bedroom is on the second floor. It is a king-size double with en-suite bathroom contained shower, basin and WC. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside

The property benefits from a private patio with gas barbecue, from where you can enjoy stunning views over the grounds and surrounding area.

Guests can also enjoy exclusive use of the grounds around the Folly, which is perfect for dog-walking. There is lots to take in, including rolling lawns, mature trees and a fishpond.

Lots of great walks and lovely pubs that welcome dogs. We really enjoyed our stay at Castlebridge Folly. ..
