Ash Villa is a luxurious retreat, ideal for get togethers with friends and family. Situated in an elevated position, there are beautiful views of the Yorkshire countryside and Peak District. Being less than a mile from a shop and a pub, this is an ideal place for a holiday in Yorkshire.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Off road parking is available for five cars.

Inside

If the outside of this beautiful detached Victorian Villa has blown you away, just wait until you’ve got through the electric gates, parked the car and entered the front door!

Set over four floors, every room offers luxury with high ceilings and period features throughout. From the hallway, with its period tiled floor and overhead chandelier, right through to the sumptuous décor and furnishings in every room, you will undoubtedly fall in love with Ash Villa.

On the ground floor you will find a beautifully styled open plan living space offering a sitting room with woodburning stove and a large Smart TV. The bay window at the front provides stunning views of the countryside.

From the sitting room you enter a stunning, modern kitchen and dining area. With an expansive dining table and chairs at which your guests can enjoy a sociable meal, and a large kitchen island, it is a dream space. The kitchen is equipped with every gadget that you might think of for a luxury stay, including electric double oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. There is a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer located in a separate utility room.

To the other side of the ground floor utility you will discover a cloakroom with granite sink, as well as an opulent double bedroom which has a feature fireplace.

On the lower-ground floor you will find a wonderful surprise. Here there is a lavish cinema room with corner sofa for you and your guests to sink in to while you watch a film on the projector screen. There is even a wine cellar on this floor, along with a cloakroom and another bedroom with a king-size bed.

Heading up to the first floor you will discover the grand family bathroom. An expansive space offering toilet, basin, wet room with rainfall shower head, and an impressive sunken bath.

There is also a double bedroom on the first floor which offers a deluxe walk-in wardrobe. In addition, you will find a further family bedroom with a double and a single bed and an open en-suite wet room, basin and toilet.

At the top of the house on the second floor is another large family bedroom, offering double bed and two singles with its own open, luxurious bathroom with generous walk-in shower and roll top bath. Due to the fact that the shower is located in the eaves, there are sloping ceilings here.

Dogs are only allowed on the ground floor.

There is a Sonos music system in all rooms and there is access to WiFi.

This is a no smoking property.

Outside

Ash Villa benefits from an enclosed garden, perfect for your canine companion. There is a decked patio area with seating for you to sit and enjoy the views of the surrounding hillsides. With expansive lawns, this is a great place for dogs and children alike.

Location and surrounding area

Holmfirth is famous for being the location for the TV series ‘Last of the Summer Wine’. The town itself is home to a range of different markets, so there will always be something for you to browse.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, there are many walking routes for you and your dog to enjoy. You are within reach of the northern end of the Peak District where there is even more beautiful countryside to explore.

The Yorkshire cities of Leeds and Sheffield are around 26 and 22 miles away respectively. Perfect for members of your party who might want a fix of city shopping.
