Cottage Details
Castle Orchard is a dog-friendly terraced stone cottage, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, three miles outside the town of Mere.
Up to five well-behaved dogs are welcome, and they will love the nearby scenic walks.
Inside
The cottage has a quirky retro feel to the furnishing and décor. The open-plan living room and dining area sit within exposed stone walls, and offer an open fire to relax in front of.
The separate kitchen has the essential mod cons, with oven, microwave and fridge freezer.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, arranged around an attractive split-level landing. One room is a double, the other two singles. The rooms enjoy a floral theme and are cosy resting places after a busy day walking the dogs and discovering the local area.
The shower room is on the ground floor, and contains shower, basin and WC.
Free WiFi is available for guest use.
Outside
The cottage has a lawned garden with a summer house, where guests can relax in comfort to read a book, or to enjoy the peace of the location.
The owners left a fabulous array of goodies for us and the dogs. If you want peace and quiet and something different then this is for you. Great position to see the local attractions. We choose this cottage as it was near to Longleat…
