Cottage Details

Badger Beach House is a contemporary, stylish property. Deceptively spacious, it’s perfect for a family break and ideal if you want to bring the dog along. Situated by some of Sussex’s most unspoiled dunes, this peaceful setting is an excellent base for exploring the miles of sandy beaches. So don’t forget the bucket and spade.

Up to 5 dogs are welcome for a small additional charge of £20 each.

On the ground floor, the large lounge offers a large L-shaped sofa with enough seating for the whole family to sit comfortably, whether reading a book from one of the well-stocked bookcases or watching a movie on the TV.

The splendid kitchen diner is generous in size and equipped with everything needed in a modern family kitchen. Including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer and microwave. There is plenty of space to prepare the perfect meal and entertain at the large dining table with enough seating for six to eight people. A high chair and baby cutlery are available. An additional seating area just by the kitchen overlooks the garden area.

Upstairs, the luxurious main bedroom has a king-sized zip-and-link bed that can be made up as twin beds if needed, a walk-in wardrobe, a TV with DVD and an en-suite shower room with WC and hand basin. The second and third bedrooms also have king-sized zip-and-link beds. There is also a cot available.

A family bathroom with a bath with shower over, WC and washbasin finish upstairs.

French doors lead from the kitchen to the garden. A decked area with outdoor furniture is perfect for entertaining and relaxing in the sun, and there is a gravelled area beyond. A barbecue and fire pit help to extend those social events further into the evening and are well fenced all around to help keep the dog safe.

Location and surrounding area

Camber sands are arguably one of the best beaches in the south of England, with much of the area designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The long ridges of dunes turn into miles of unspoilt sandy beach.

For those interested in history, during World War 2, the beaches were used for training troops in preparation for the D-Day landings due to their similarity to the Normandy Beaches.

Today the beaches are popular for water sports and kite surfing. Due to the vast size of the beach, you can enjoy a quiet walk and appreciate the tranquillity of the unspoilt beach, taking in the views across the sea. Or, if you are feeling a little more energetic, then learning a new water sport at Camber Sands should be at the top of your list.
