The only thing old nowadays about the Old Dairy is that it was a barn in a former life. Inside has been beautifully developed to offer you a stylish holiday home with a range of modern creature comforts. Located in farmland with views out across the Wiltshire countryside to Salisbury Plain beyond, there are many opportunities for walks with your dog. To top this lovely location off, you are just 0.3 miles away from the village’s The Well pub.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome (but not on furniture or beds).

There is a spacious off-road parking area.

Inside

All of the accommodation at the Old Dairy is on one level. The living areas are located within one open plan space. Each part has been stylishly zoned and there is a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams above. The sitting area has elegant sofas centered around a wood-burning stove. There is also a Smart TV in this part of the accommodation.

At the center of the living space is a dining table and chairs for six people. And on the other side of the dining area is the beautifully styled kitchen. Here there is also an island with four stools, perfect for socialising with a drink in the evening, or perhaps enjoying breakfast with your guests. The kitchen is very well equipped with electric double oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, as well as a Soda Stream. But not only that, there is also a discreet utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Through to the sleeping accommodation, you will find three bedrooms, each with an individual theme. The ‘Pheasant’ room has a king-sized bed and a TV, and also boasts an en-suite shower room. You will also find a king-sized bed in the ‘Hare’ room which has Jack-and-Jill access to the family shower room. Bedroom three is the ‘Hound’ room which has twin beds.

There is access to WiFi.

A highchair is available upon request.

Lovely accommodation finished to a high quality very comfortable furnishings, all in a very quiet peaceful location particularly enjoyed the long walks available from the front door with the dogs.

Outside

The Old Dairy offers you a choice of garden seating areas. At the front there is a generous lawned area and furniture for your use. To the rear there is a patio with more furniture and a charcoal barbecue.

Location and surrounding area

The cottage is located in the Wiltshire village of Bulkington. A small village, but with easy access to Salisbury Plain and with a pub at its heart, it is lovely rural place for a country holiday.

With walking aplenty, including along the Kennet and Avon canal, you can pick a new route every day of your stay.

This area of the UK also forms part of the beautiful Cotswolds where you will find a wealth of traditional villages and towns to visit.

The Old Dairy is also located just eight miles from Coventry if you want to explore the city. Or perhaps take a stroll with your dog around the 100 acre Royton Pools country park.
