Location and surrounding area

Newlyn is an attractive Cornish sea port, with an 800-year-old quay, quaint streets and cobbled courtyards. You’ll find plenty of traditional inns and restaurants offering local produce.

The Cornwall Coastal Path and the Mousehole to Marazion cycle path both pass through Newlyn. Walks or bike rides will reward you with views of wildlife and flora, including basking sharks, dolphins and grey seals, depending on the time of year.

The well-known town of Penzance is just a mile away. Discover St Michael’s Mount and its 12th century fortress, which you can access on foot at low tide when the causeway is uncovered, or by ferry when the tide is in.
