If you are looking for a traditional Cotswold cottage, then Oat Hill Cottage is for you. Traditionally stone built with a charming arch through to the front door, it really is a lovely property. 

Located in the unspoilt Cotswold village of Snowshill, Gloucestershire, this cottage offers you the beauty of a period property, with comforts to make your stay just perfect.  Its village location gives you access to a dog friendly pub, as well as walking routes and easy access to a wealth of other Cotswold treasures.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and must remain downstairs.

On-street parking is available.

Inside

Once you have taken in the breath-taking beauty of the outside, step inside to find an equally delightful interior. The front door offers a covered entrance and once inside you will find an array of period features including exposed beams and stonework.

The sitting room and dining space is cosy and inviting. With comfortable sofas and armchairs and a Smart TV, there is a stone fireplace with electric fire to enjoy on cooler days. A dining table and chairs sit in a recess of this open plan space, creating a lovely little nook in which to enjoy a relaxed dinner.

The kitchen is accessed from the dining area and is a perfectly formed space offering electric oven, induction hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and washing machine.

Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other twin beds, both rooms filled with light from overhead skylights. There is also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and basin. The toilet is located in a separate room next to the bathroom.

There is access to WiFi.

Outside

Oat Hill Cottage has a quaint and secluded courtyard which is located at the front of the cottage, enclosed by a gate. Here you will find a table and chairs for your use.  

Location and surrounding area

The village of Snowshill itself offers plenty for you to do. Enjoy a visit to the pub, or take a walk to the local Cotswold lavender farm, where dogs are welcome in the fields. 

There are plenty of walking routes in the area too, including a circular walk taking in Stanton, Snowshill and the Edge.

The beautiful Stanway House and Fountain are located around five miles away, and they welcome dogs on leads in their grounds.

You have easy access to many of the famous Cotswold towns and villages from Oat Hill Cottage, including Chipping Campden and Broadway. The challenge will be making time to see them all!
