Welcome to End Cottage, located in a serene environment in the Peak District, close enough to stroll down into the town of Bakewell but close enough to fully admire the rolling countryside.

End Cottage is an alluring property that offers a family-friendly and child-friendly perfect holiday destination. This wonderful and stylish cottage is split over four floors, providing room and accommodation for everyone. 

The location provides a perfect opportunity to explore Bakewell and the Peak District’s attractions such as Chatsworth and Haddon Hall. 

Up to five dogs are most welcome to stay at the cottage. 

There is a charge of £20 per dog per full or part week. The dogs should be very well-behaved. 

Inside

The entrance is on the lower ground floor which offers a delight of space, light, and stylish furnishings. It consists of a bar area and a chill-out room with comfy sitting. The kids are provided with a room next to it which consists of games and playing facilities including an air hockey table. 

The upper ground floor boasts of a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a Smart TV and cosy wood burner. The intimate dining area seats up to six people.

The kitchen has all the mod cons including a microwave, an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. 

The first floor comprises a king-size bedroom and a double room consisting of a bathroom with a bath, a separate shower, and a WC. 

Heading to the second floor, there’s a large and spacious king-size bedroom with stunning views over the open fields. A small room is situated just off the bedroom with a single sofa-bed, a perfect space to pop up a travel cot. There’s a handy shower room with a WC also on this floor.

Outside

This property has no outside space but there is off-road parking for one car. Further roadside parking is also available a short walk away. 

Location and surrounding area

Being one of the most popular towns in the Peak District, Bakewell offers a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, and galleries.  Other attractions include Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

The area is ideal for cyclists and dog walkers alike since Bakewell is situated at the start of the Monsal trail, a car-free walking and cycling trail. 

The plentiful exploring opportunities include the rolling limestone hills of the White Peak and the dramatic moorlands and gritstone edges of the Dark Peak. All of these can be explored on public footpaths and open-access land.
